- The preparation is a drug for dissolving mucus in respiratory diseases with thick mucus (mucolytic). The drug is used for the expectorant treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs with thick mucus.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is

Adults and adolescents from 12 years
- generally take 1 capsule daily (equivalent to 75 mg ambroxol hydrochloride day).

A notice:
- If you have impaired kidney function or severe liver disease, you must take the medicine longer or reduce the dose.

Duration of application
- Do not take the medicine for more than 4-5 days without medical advice. If after this time there is no improvement or your clinical picture worsens, you should consult a doctor.

- Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

If you take more medicine than you should
- Serious symptoms of intoxication have not been observed in the event of an overdose of Ambroxol. Brief restlessness and diarrhea have been reported. Accidental or intentional extreme overdose can result in increased saliva secretion, gagging, vomiting and a drop in blood pressure.

- If you have taken too much of the medicine, please contact a doctor. Acute measures, such as inducing vomiting and gastric lavage, are not generally indicated and should only be considered in the case of extreme overdose. Treatment is recommended in accordance with the symptoms of the overdose.
