  • What is Esberitox® rhizome, Purple coneflower, Echinacea pallida and what is it used for?
    Esberitox® is a herbal medicine for colds. Esberitox® is used for the supportive therapy of viral colds.

    How should Esberitox® rhizome, Purple coneflower, Echinacea pallida be taken?
    Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

    Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:

    Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:
    4–6 tablets 3 times a day.

    Children from 7 to 11 years:
    2–3 tablets 3 times a day.

    Children from 4 to 6 years:
    1–2 tablets 3 times a day.

    There are insufficient data for specific dosage recommendations in the case of impaired kidney liver function. Please take Esberitox® in the morning, at noon and in the evening with sufficient liquid, preferably water. The tablets can also be chewed.

    Duration rhizome, Purple coneflower, Echinacea pallida of use:
    Start the treatment as soon as possible after the first signs of illness (symptoms) appear and keep taking Esberitox® until the symptoms subside. Do not take Esberitox® for more than 10 days without medical advice.

    The active ingredient is:
    1 tablet contains: 3.2 mg dry extract (4–9: 1) from a mixture of pod rootstock: Purple coneflower root: Pale coneflower root: Tree of life tips and leaves (4.92: 1.85: 1 , 85: 1).

    Extraction agent: ethanol 30% (V V).

    The other ingredients rhizome, Purple coneflower, Echinacea pallida are:
    Betadex, mannitol (Ph. Eur.), Glycerol dibehenate (Ph. Eur.), Magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [Vegetable], sodium saccharin, citric acid monohydrate, lemon flavor (natural)
