  • How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

    There is still no reliable knowledge about the mechanism of action. The following mechanisms are discussed: inhibition of acid-producing microorganisms in dental plaque, incorporation into tooth enamel and thus greater resistance to acids, and improvement in the mineral balance of tooth enamel.

    What adverse effects may occur?

    Only side effects that have only occurred in exceptional cases so far are described for the drug.

    Constant overdosing of fluoride in the first years of life can lead to dental fluorosis (discoloration of the toothache).

    If you notice any discomfort or changes during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    For the information at this point, side effects are primarily taken into account that occur in at least one in 1,000 patients treated.

    As a rule, if no fluoride is added to the drinking water:
