1 ampoule (2 ml) injection solution contains the active ingredient:
cyanocobalamin 1000 µg
The other ingredients are: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid 10% to adjust the pH value, water for injections.
Areas of vitamin b12 ampoules injection application:
Vitamin B12 deficiency that cannot be remedied nutritionally.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can manifest itself in the following clinical pictures:
– hyperchromic macrocytic megaloblastic anemia (perniciosa, Biermer anemia, Addison s anemia),
– funicular spinal disease.
A vitamin B12 deficiency confirmed by laboratory diagnosis can occur in the event of:
• Years of malnutrition or malnutrition (e.g. through a strictly vegetarian diet).
• Malabsorption due to
– insufficient production of intrinsic factor,
– diseases in the end segment of the ileum, e . B. sprue,
fish tapeworm infestation or
blind-loop syndrome.
• Congenital vitamin B12 transport disorders.
